It's the old Darwin, but not as you've seen it before... Tuesday marked 150 years since surveyor George Goyder arrived here, on Larrakia land and sea, to sketch up plans for a new northern capital, establishing the first permanent European settlement in the NT. Darwin Resident Terry O'Brien has been taking old photos of the early settlement, such as this famous shot by Paul Foelsche from Fort Hill in 1887, and bringing them back to life by colourising them.
