Sometimes Territorians have to travel a long way for a party. But as the wise saying goes, if you focus on the journey not the destination, you can find happiness in difficult circumstances. These two have the right idea. We're not sure who they are, but this photo is in the Library's collection with a note on the back that says they were bogged most of New Year's Eve 1950 on the Elsey Station Road. Hope your New Year's celebrations go well and you get there and back safely.
